Our Story
Fenno-Aurum Oy Ltd was founded in 2012 in Finland with a singular purpose: to bring laboratory-grade radiation detection technology to research institutions, industrial clients, and space agencies worldwide.
The name reflects our roots — Fenno for Finland, Aurum for gold — symbolising the quality and precision at the core of everything we make.
We design and manufacture gas-filled proportional counters capable of detecting X-ray, gamma-ray, and ultraviolet radiation across a wide range of energies. Our instruments are trusted in XRF analysis, space instrumentation, food safety, ore sorting, and cutting-edge scientific research.
As an OEM manufacturer, we supply both standard detector configurations and fully bespoke systems — supported by our in-house low-noise preamplifiers, high-voltage power supplies, and signal electronics.
